Connecting to the NAS for the Mountain Democrat

Use the following information to connect to the new NAS server at the MD.

From inside the building:

- Select "Go" from the finder menu.

- Select "Connect to server...."

- Type "smb://193.58.92.200/MD" in the server address box and hit enter.

From outside the building:

- Select "Go" from the finder menu.

- Select "Connect to server...."

- Type "afp://nas.mtdemocrat.com/MD" in the server address box and hit enter.

The username is in the format firstname.lastname.  The password is in the form Firstname<3HerData.

So for a woman named Jane Doe, the login and password would look like this:

user:  jane.doe

pass:  Jane<3HerData

 For a man named Joe Smith, the login and password would look like this:

user:  joe.smith

pass:  Joe<3HisData
