This article will tell you where to find the host file to import into Filezilla. It will also show you how to import that file into Filezilla so you can access our pre-configured FTP sites.
- First, you need to get the Filezilla.xml file from your local server. Each site's server (DR, DE and MD) has a folder off the root of the server called USER_SETTINGS. Go to this folder and open up the directory called "Filezilla." In that folder you will find a file called "Filezilla.xml." Drag that folder to your desktop.
- Open up Filezilla on your PC or Mac. From the top menu, click File > Import.
- Select the "Filezilla.xml" file that you dragged to your desktop and hit OK.
- You will get a message that tells you "The selected file contains importable data for the following categories." It will list "Site Manager Entries" and "Settings" as the two categories you can pick from. Select both and hit OK.
- You will then get a message that says the settings have been imported and you need to restart Filezilla for the changes to take effect.
- Restart Filezilla and you should have all the company servers listed in your Site Manager.
