The first procedure for fixing the database is to re-index the database using the Nightly Processing Menu. If that fails, or gives error 41 or 15, write down the file names that have those errors and follow the procedure below:
1. Get everyone out of the system
2. In the Administration menu, go to System Utilities
3. Type in the password "don" to get in.
4. Go to the Error Recovery menu
5. Use the "Fix Memo File" and "Fix Tables" tools.
6. Select the appropriate files to fix by navigating to the AMPro database on the server. Make sure to go to the server and not the local copy of AMPro.
7. If the fix fails, you can run it several times (sometimes up to 8) to see if it will fix the file. If it still fails, you need to call Baseview at 734-662-5800.
