Email is the primary way to identify a Customer Record. If the Payment Form is used, the business or person's name should be usable in search queries.
To view a Customer Record, use one of the two techniques described in What Is A Customer Record? Namely, use a search query or the Customers screen (https://dashboard.stripe.com/customers/) on the Stripe Dashboard. If you know what you're looking for, and not simply looking to browse recent transactions by time, the search feature is probably the fastest way to find a record.
