How Much Does Stripe Cost?

Using Stripe to take payments online costs the business money. Here's their pricing page. Typically our charge from Stripe is a flat 30 cent fee for each transaction plus 2.9% of the transaction cost.

The only big exception is for something called "chargebacks." Here's what Stripe has to say about chargebacks and other fees on their documentation item on this subject:

Chargebacks—which, to be clear, are different from refunds—incur a fee, which varies depending on your Stripe account country and primary currency. If the dispute is resolved in your favor, we refund the fee (more about chargebacks).
