Logging into your phone after a power outage or reboot

If the power goes out, or our phone server gets rebooted, you might see a different user and extension listed on your phone.  These are the users that were "hard coded" into the system when it was first setup.  We no longer hard code users due to users and extensions changing so often.  Follow the directions below to log the previous user out and log yourself in.

For the smaller phones (Avaya 5402):

Hit the 'a' button on the LCD (NOT the #2 button)

So for a user at extension 145, you would type the following:

For the larger phones (Avaya 5410):

Hit the button next to the "Login" prompt on the screen
